MT Carney-Naked Communications NDAC OUTSIDE VOICES
|

On Thursday, September 17, MT Carney of Naked Communications spoke to a well-attended Outside Voices Speakers Series event with the theme, The Agency Model is Broken: It’s time to re-think how products, services and brands are connected to their consumers.
MT Carney, Co-Founder and Partner of Naked Communications, New York, offered a provocative and insightful view of the advertising business and the seeming inability for many traditional agencies to adapt with the changing landscape of marketing and communications.
Her firm, Naked, has positioned itself as a pure (or nearly pure) strategy group, not touching the creative or media (in most cases.) Naked works both directly with clients and as an adjunct to some well known agencies to fill those gaps particular to specific brands, audiences and situations.

"Size Matters" Reinhard & Rosenshine - NDAC Outside Voices
|
June 25th's "Size Matters"Outside Voices Speakers Series
event was an unparalleled success.

Jointly, the architect/founders of Omnicom, the largest and most successful marketing communications company in the world. Keith Reinhard, Chairman Emeritus of DDB Worldwide and Allen Rosenshine, Chairman Emeritus of BBDO shared their insights, humor and forecasts with a crowd of 100 members of the region's marketing community at the Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
The stories and backgrounds into such well recognized campaigns as "You Deserve a Break Today.” “Two-all-beef-patties-special-sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions--on a sesame seed bun.” “Just Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm Is There.” and clients like Budweiser, Guinness, Pepsi, Gillette, Aquafina, Volkswagen, Virgin Atlantic, HBO, Ikea, M&Ms, Ameriquest, GE, McDonald's, State Farm and many more were only the first course of this feast of information. After their presentation the
lights went up and these luminaries engaged the crowd in a question and answer session that lasted nearly an hour.
One could not have imagined a more humble, personable and caring duo of industry giants. We thank them profusely and offer that the rest of the community should not miss future Outside Voices Series events.
